About the event
"Galentine's Day" has been my favourite new holiday ever since Parks and Recreation's Lesley Knopes "invented" it in 2010 - and her words are definitely worth repeating here:
"What's Galentine's Day? Oh, it's only the best day of the year. Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies."
Paint the Town is ALL ABOUT celebrating and centring ladies, so I absolutely could not let this one pass by without recognising the day!
This year we will be having fun with life drawing. Bring your favourite girl friends down for a night of laughter, indulgence and creativity.
You DO NOT have to have any art background, skills or experience. We will get to experiment with pencils, charcoals, textas, oil pastels, crayons and more, and the evening is structured with lots of fun…
